About

I was born in Boston, grew up in San Francisco, then moved to Japan for a while. I lived in Tokyo, then Nagoya, then Kobe. It was a life-changing experience and I highly recommend it. Great people, great food, cool language--I still think on Japan as a second home.

 

When I returned to America, I worked In Silicon Valley, then NYC, then Vermont. At the start of 2021, my family relocated to New Zealand.

 

When I'm not writing, I enjoy rowing, swimming, hiking, reading, and camping. I have two dogs, two kids, one cat, and one partner.
